Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They set out the rules for using the TifunBox platform. By using TifunBox you agree to these Terms in full. If you have any questions please contact us before proceeding.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the TifunBox application or website (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TifunBox Food Services Private Limited (CIN: U56290PB2025PTC6055), a company incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, with its registered office at E316, Sector 75, Mohali, Punjab 160071, India.
2. Description of Services
TifunBox is an online marketplace that connects consumers ("Users") with FSSAI-licensed home and cloud kitchen partners ("Kitchen Partners") for ordering freshly prepared food. TifunBox also facilitates event catering, corporate meal programmes, and kitchen partner onboarding. TifunBox acts as an intermediary platform; the contract for the sale of food is between the User and the Kitchen Partner. TifunBox is not the seller of food but facilitates the transaction.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Platform. By using the Platform you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older, have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts, and are not barred from receiving services under any applicable law. TifunBox reserves the right to verify your age and identity at any time.
4. User Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to update it promptly if it changes. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. TifunBox will not be liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account.
5. Orders, Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Menu items and prices are set by Kitchen Partners and may change without notice. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase; acceptance occurs when TifunBox confirms the order. TifunBox accepts payments via the methods displayed in the app. All payments are processed by PCI-DSS-compliant third-party gateways. TifunBox does not store card details. Delivery charges, if any, will be shown before checkout.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel an order within 2 minutes of placing it without charge. After that window, cancellation may not be possible as kitchen preparation begins promptly. If a confirmed order cannot be fulfilled by the Kitchen Partner, TifunBox will offer a full refund or credit. Refunds for valid complaints (wrong item, quality issue) are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method. TifunBox's refund decisions are final and are at the discretion of our support team based on the nature of the complaint.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) submit false, fraudulent, or misleading orders or reviews; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Platform's infrastructure; (d) create multiple accounts to abuse promotions; (e) harass, threaten, or abuse TifunBox staff, Kitchen Partners, or delivery partners; (f) upload content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights. Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including logos, text, graphics, user interface designs, and software — is the exclusive property of TifunBox or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial ordering purposes. Any other use requires prior written consent from TifunBox.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TifunBox shall not be liable for: (a) the quality, safety, or fitness for purpose of food prepared by Kitchen Partners; (b) delivery delays caused by traffic, weather, or force majeure events; (c) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform; (d) losses arising from unauthorised access to your account through no fault of TifunBox. TifunBox's total aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period shall not exceed the amount paid by you to TifunBox in that period.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TifunBox, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
TifunBox may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that it believes violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Kitchen Partners, TifunBox, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by following the account deletion process in the app or emailing [email protected]. Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon. The seat of arbitration shall be Chandigarh, Punjab. Nothing herein prevents TifunBox from seeking urgent interim relief before a competent court.
13. Changes to Terms
TifunBox reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
